OwlSuite is a business platform that lets a company run its commercial and recruitment operations in one place: finding and placing candidates, quoting and agreeing client work, and administering the people delivering it. It is used by an organisation's own staff, who sign in to their company's workspace.

Why OwlSuite asks for access to your Google account
Connecting a Google account is optional. A user connects their own mailbox so that email correspondence with a lead, client contact or candidate appears on that person's record in OwlSuite, and so that they can reply without leaving the platform. OwlSuite requests three permissions, and nothing beyond them:
Read your Gmail messages
gmail.readonly
So that a message you or a colleague exchanged with a contact appears on that contact's record. Only messages involving a lead, client contact or candidate already recorded in your workspace are stored. Every other message is read in memory to make that decision and then discarded — it is never saved, never shown to anyone, and never leaves the request that examined it.
Send email on your behalf
gmail.send
So that a reply you write from a record is sent from your own mailbox: it lands in your Sent folder and threads normally for the recipient, rather than arriving from a system address they cannot reply to. OwlSuite sends only messages you have written and submitted yourself.
See your email address
userinfo.email
So that OwlSuite knows which mailbox was connected, and can show it to you on the connection screen.
This data is never used for advertising, and never to train or improve artificial intelligence models. It is not sold, and it is not shared outside your own organisation's workspace. You can disconnect at any time, which revokes OwlSuite's access at Google immediately. Our Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is accessed, stored and deleted.
